Cookie Policy
MyShopBuy uses a deliberately small amount of browser storage. We do not run advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or third-party analytics profiles.

Strictly necessary storage
When you sign in, our authentication provider stores your session token in your browser so you stay logged in between visits. Clearing it signs you out. This is essential for accounts to work at all and cannot be switched off while you are signed in.
Preference storage
We remember a few small choices in localStorage on your own device: your light/dark theme, your saved favourite tools, your recent searches, and an anonymous key used only to count free background removals per day. None of this is transmitted to advertisers and none of it identifies you personally.
Usage measurement
We record which tool slugs are opened and which search terms are typed, so we know what to build next. These records contain no file contents, no form inputs and no personal text — only the tool name, the action and a timestamp. When you are signed in they are linked to your account so we can show you your own history.
Third-party cookies
If you sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies during that sign-in flow under its own policy. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which does not set cookies for font requests. We do not currently serve advertising and therefore set no advertising cookies.
Managing your choices
You can clear site data at any time from your browser settings, which removes your theme, favourites, recent searches and guest key. Signing out clears your session token. Deleting your account from the dashboard removes your stored profile, favourites, history and uploaded background-remover images.
Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce advertising or third-party analytics, we will update this page and add a consent interface with accept, reject and manage options before those cookies are set.
